Welcome to the new Cortico platform
We've been building a new version of the Cortico platform, and we're excited to start bringing partners onto it. It keeps the core of what you already do with Cortico, like listening to conversations, highlighting key moments, and making sense of what you hear, with a refreshed design and some changes to how things are organized and named.

What happens to my collections/catalogs?
- We’ve replaced collections and catalogs with a new, simpler folder: projects. Projects contain your conversations, highlights, tags, medleys, and team members.
Where does sensemaking take place? What happened to Insights?
- Sensemaking now takes place on the highlights tab. This tab replaces Insights. From this tab, you’ll be able to create tags, apply those tags to highlights, and filter through your highlights.
Where is my codebook?
- In this platform refresh, the labels you attach to highlights are called tags instead of codes. Only the name has changed. Tags work the same way codes did: you apply them to highlights to mark themes, patterns, and ideas across your conversations. A collection of tags is called a tag group (instead of a codebook). You can find your tag group by navigating to the Highlights tab.
Do I need to import my highlights into the Highlights tab to do Sensemaking?
- No! Highlights created within your project will be automatically visible in the Highlights tab. From there, you are able to jump into tagging.
Are there any new features in this refreshed version of the platform?
- Yes! In addition to simplifying the platform, you can now also tag multiple highlights at once with bulk tagging, and Admins now have the ability to delete conversations on the platform.
