Cortico has created a web-based tool for Cortico partners to access and explore the conversations they host. Cortico’s system creates a transcript for each recorded conversation and stores both the transcript and audio recording on the platform. The system highlights keywords that emerge across the different conversations and allows authorized Cortico partner team members to search conversations, listen to audio snippets, and discover patterns.
Partner organizations can then decide whether they want collections (and individual conversations) to be publicly available or available only to users that partner-designated admins add to their account.
Many partners also opt to make collections (or individual conversations) restricted. You can read this article on collection access levels or this article on user roles and permissions for more information.
In our new mobile app, our default setting is for conversation records to be immediately available to conversation participants and project staff. A key part of being part of a conversation is sharing your voice. Participants are informed of the following within the app:
- The full recording and transcript will be visible only to conversation participants and project staff.
- When someone creates a highlight with your voice, you'll be notified.
- By participating in this project, you agree to let your voice be shared. You can always revoke approval for specific highlights you don't want shared.
Participants also have the ability to indicate excerpts in a transcript that they don’t want to be shared more broadly.
