When working to review highlights and apply codes in Insights, sensemakers can ask our AI assistant to suggest codes. This can be done for an individual highlight or as a bulk action for a collection of highlights
Suggest Codes for an Individual Highlight
Start by clicking on the highlight you want to tag in Insights. Next, pull in AI suggestions by selecting the button in the bottom left corner of the highlight. While the AI assistant is working, you will see the button in the bottom left change to a moving color gradient.
Once the AI assistant has completed the request, the AI suggestions will appear with a sparkle icon and will be surrounded by a dotted outline. It is important to note that our AI assistant will not always find a code that applies to a particular highlight. We recommend that you only request AI-suggested codes once for a particular highlight. If that initial request does not result in AI suggestions, we suggest you tag this particular highlight manually.
Suggest Codes in Bulk
You can suggest codes with our AI assistant in bulk by first selecting all highlights in your catalog (or selecting all of the highlights on the page). After selecting your group of highlights, a purple banner should appear at the top of the page. In that purple banner, you should see a button titled "Suggest Codes with AI". Click that button to suggest codes for the group you have selected. Depending on the size of your catalog, suggesting codes with AI can take a few minutes. Once the AI assistant starts working, you will see a progress bar to show you how many highlights have been processed.
If you find that the AI assistant is taking too long to suggest codes for the group of highlights you have selected, you can stop the AI assistant by selecting that progress bar and clicking stop.
